I Love Qatar - 11th of April 2010

The first ever Qatar Marine festival is about to kick off on Wednesday 13th April and runs until the 21st.
Taking place at the new Cultural Village Sea Front the festival aims to celebrate Qatari heritage and longstanding marine association through various educational, cultural, leisure and scientific platforms.
There is a nifty events calendar on their website - just click on any date and view the various events happening that day.
We're particularly looking forward to the outdoor movie nights (3 movies a night starting at 4pm) and finding out what Bossaball is really all about! No details about what movies will be showing but hey, whatever they are it beats sitting in front of the TV!
All the events are free, there will be a food court and there is plenty of parking. A dedicated Karwa taxi rank will also be in operation for the duration of the festival.
