
Haribo continues taking care of Bossaball, director of Music & Sports Wilco Nijland said. "Successful previous alliances make the continuation happen."
Confectionery group Haribo has not unveiled a new sponsorship programma; the current concept works fine, Nijland tells. "This summer Haribo will sponsor our Bossaball Summer Tour for the third time in a row. After holding the first edition in France, they followed us to The Netherlands. We will visit campsites for one month, and Haribo is the official sponsor of this event."
Nijland emphasises that less campsites will be visited during the Bossaball Dutch Summer Tour than last year. "We decreased the number, because we will focus on quality instead of quantity. But we will still be able to promote the game of bossaball at over forty campsites." Almost 200.000 spectators are estimated to get in touch with Bossaball during this Summer Tour.
Nijland is also holding conversations with colleagues of the Dutch Volleyball Federation NeVoBo and Dutch Gymnastics Federation KNGU.
"Mutual efforts to keep the Dutch youth playing sports should be done by us. That is our main task. Maybe a forthcoming joined Summer Tour could help. Exploratory work is currently in progress."
